Well, good thing the VT thing is behind us (as far as the media goes, I would never suggest we forget what happened). I am sorry that I was so over the top but kind of not. I mean, the media DRIVES ME NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, just like I thought, Phil Stacey went home (I mean, anyone who missed the birth of HIS CHILD to try out for American Idol is lame) and so did Chirs. Finally, a good choice, America! Whoohoo! On another note, things are nuts in my world-as usual. School is drawing to a close and everyone has got the Fever-the Fever to get the heck up out! Everyone is packing like crazy and studying even harder since it is also finals time. I am so glad I do not have any finals myself. Camp is on the horizon and I have tons of stuff to do for that-stuff I really enjoy so no big deal. Here are some thoughts from the past couple of weeks (or since I wrote last)

…………………..I have been reading Gone with the Wind. What a great book! For those of you who don’t know, I am always reading but I try to alternate between fiction and non fiction. I was a little leary about this book because I am not one for a love story but this is anything but that! It is so interesting to read about that time period in history. I guess I have never really thought about what it was like for most everyone at the end of the war-resources depleted, people spread all over the place with no way to really communicate. It has been sucking me in and I am constantly thinking about what is going on at Tara. Right now, Scarlett is scheming to take Mr. Kennedy away from Suellen. She is dirty. If she were a celebrity today, I think she might be Paris Hilton, only she would be really smart and cunning. But as far as the men go and the shamelessness-her and Paris might be buds. Forget a song called Fergilicious-it would be Scarletlicious, and she would definitely be flying first class! Some of you may think it is lame that I have chosen this as my fiction selection but I encourage you all to read it. Both male and female-it is not a love story…at least not as much as the movie makes it out to be. Not too much else. I have had a million random thoughts over the last couple of weeks but of course they escape now when I am sitting in front of a computer with all the time in the world to type them out. Oh well-maybe they will come back to me! peace out
